Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration, Takele Uma (Eng.), made clear that daily routines in the city will remain intact and his administration is not planning total lock down due to the noble Corona Virus (COVID-19). Therefore, daily activities in the city including taxi services will continue. To this effect, the Office of The Mayor instructed that minibus taxis in the city to reduce their carrying capacity by half and the taxi fare is doubled, buses are no longer allowed to serve more than 30 passengers at a time as well.
