Ethiopia and Azerbaijan signed a bilateral agreement on defense cooperation today following Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s (PhD) official visit to Baku.
The accord, formalized after high-level talks between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Abiy, is titled: “Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in the Field of Defense.”
It was signed by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos.
